A ten-year-old boy who was reported missing from Stevens Point has been found safe.
The Stevens Point Police Department received a report last night that the boy was missing from the two-thousand-block of Elliss Street. Officers checked local parks, schools and other places children may go and continued to search through the evening. He was found safe thanks to a report received by the Portage County Communications Center that a child matching the boy’s description was seen walking on Highway 54 near Grant Avenue.
