WI Capitol Ranks High for Veg-Heads

Madison is one of the best cities for vegetarians and vegans in the country. 

A new report by WalletHub compares the 100 largest US cities based on the cost of groceries for vegetarians, the number of restaurants serving foods without animal products, and the number of farmers markets.  Madison ranks tenth best for vegetarians and vegans, with Portland, Oregon, and Los Angeles, California, in first and second.  Milwaukee is much lower, ranking 83rd.  Those who stray from animal-based products have the hardest luck in Anchorage, Alaska, and Greensboro, North Carolina.
