Nature Place Shines Light on Solar Installation

Installation work is complete on a new solar project at the Nature Place nature preserve in La Crosse. 

Folks gathered Thursday for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on a 120-panel solar array that is projected to cut the nonprofit’s energy consumption by 68 percent.  The Nature Place says the funds saved with reduced energy costs will be reinvested into efforts including educational programs and land stewardship initiatives.
