Microsoft is adding an additional four-billion-dollar investment to a future AI data center in Wisconsin.
Construction on the initial three-point-three-billion-dollar data center is set to be complete early next year. The additional four-billion-dollar investment is expected to make the center into an advanced data center within three years. The Mount Pleasant center is expected to employ about 500 people once operational. That number will grow to 800 once the expansion is complete.
