Two female athletes from the University School of Milwaukee are making history.
Sophomores Anna Griesbach and Izzy Gonzalez-Rodriguez have been added to the school’s varsity football team. The duo joined the team after the original kicker was injured. They are the first girls to play in a varsity football game for the school. Head coach Brian Sommers expressed optimism about their impact, hoping they become the first females to score points for the Wildcats.
