988 Day, Mental Health Resources Highlighted

It’s 988 Day in Wisconsin, a statewide observance recognizing mental health resources in the state. 

988 Day falls on September 8th annually.  Most recent numbers from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services says the 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline saw a 15-percent increase in calls this July compared to the same time last year.  The hotline gives free, confidential support for suicide, mental health, or substance use crises.
