Representative Derrick Van Orden was in Eau Claire Monday to host a roundtable with local veterans.
He gave an update on his VA Home Loan Program Reform bill, which was signed into law by President Trump. He also mentioned the closure of Klein Hall in Chippewa Falls and called for Governor Evers to find a solution to keep it open. Evers has claimed that GOP lawmakers on the joint finance committee didn’t approve money for the veteran housing and recovery program in the state budget.
