Four counties and four communities in Wisconsin have been designated as Historically Underutilized Business Zones, or HUBZones.
Designation gives businesses in selected zones more opportunities for growth and job creation. Dunn, Waushara Florence, and Sawyer counties, along with areas near Monroe, Superior, Platteville, and Wisconsin Rapids, recently became HUBZones.
