Amtrak officials say they’re cleared to start service again from La Crosse and Chicago.
A train derailment last Friday closed down its route. Passengers were being rerouted through other tracks and bussed to destinations. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says there are concerns about this second train derailment accident in over two years — happening in this same area. Authorities are still investigating the cause.
