Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is getting surgery ahead of the new season.
General manager Brian Gutekunst said on Tuesday that Love would be go into surgery that day for a left thumb injury suffered during Saturday’s preseason game. It’s expected to be a quick recovery, meaning Love won’t miss their Week One game against the Detroit Lions.
