Flags in Wisconsin will be flying at half-staff this Saturday.
Governor Tony Evers ordered it in honor of a Wisconsin World War Two veteran whose remains were recently identified and brought back. U.S. Army Air Forces Private Herbert E. McLaughlin died after the attacks on Pearl Harbor. His remains were accounted for in 2024 and were recently flown back to Shawano.
