The State of Wisconsin is distributing more than 315-thousand-dollars to increase the state’s exports.
The Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection says the money will go to seven projects focused on expanding dairy, meat, and crop exports. The University of Wisconsin-River Falls will get more than 41-thousand to study the effects of tariffs on US dairy exports, and the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association will get almost 63-thousand to improve its consulting services and reduce shipping costs.
