Bill Looks to Create Task Force

A bill reintroduced in the Wisconsin Legislature would create a task force for missing and murdered Black women and girls.

State Representative Shelia Stubbs says she’s once again urging the state to set up the task force.  The bill passed in the State Assembly in 2024, but it stalled in the senate.  If passed, the task force would be made up of members of law enforcement, survivors, and attorneys.
