Grants Aim to Improve Hunting Resources in WI

Grant applications for projects that will improve resources for hunters are now open.

The Department of Natural Resources says the Hunter Recruitment, Retention and Reactivation Grant Program will distribute 75-thousand-dollars to this round of applicants.  Past grant recipients have used the money for archery range upgrades, 4-H sports programs, hunting expos, and hunting education programs.  Applications will be open on the DNR website through September 15.
