Charges are being filed against the owner of a St. Croix Falls cat rescue.
Investigators raided the home of 70-year-old Myrna Westen earlier this month and arrested her. They say she took in more cats than she was able to handle. According to prosecutors, Westen mistreated, failed to feed and killed a number of cats. Westen is due back in court next month.
