Boys and Girls Clubs Face Funding Freezes, Uncertain Future

Federal funding freezes could force the closures of up to 40 Boys and Girls Clubs across Wisconsin. 

The Trump administration froze more than six billion dollars in grant funding, claiming schools were operating under a radical left-wing agenda.  17 million of those dollars were for Wisconsin.  If the facilities shut down, 477 staff members could lose their jobs and 85-hundred kids could lose free child care and after-school programming.
