Suspect Arrested in Lake Hallie Stabbing Incident

An Eau Claire man is facing charges after a Friday stabbing incident in Lake Hallie. 

Police responding to a 41st Avenue home Friday morning found a man who was stabbed five times.  Eighteen-year-old suspect Orestes Kouris was later located near the Lake Hallie Golf Course and arrested.  Charges against Kouris include attempted first-degree intentional homicide.  The victim was last reported as hospitalized in stable condition.
