Enhanced security is in place at the Wisconsin Capitol this week following the politically-motivated killings in Minnesota this past weekend.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos asked that additional safety measures be established as lawmakers prepare to meet tomorrow. Investigators say the names of roughly a dozen Democrat officials from Wisconsin are included in the documents left behind in a vehicle used by alleged shooter Vance Boelter. He is in custody and accused of killing Minnesota state Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband. Boelter also shot and seriously injured Minnesota state Senator John Hoffman and is wife.
