On June 15, 2025 at approximately 11:58 am, Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a subject who entered an unoccupied residence on Sun-N-Sno Road in the Town of Round Lake. The owners of the residence have no affiliation with the subject. The initial call reported the subject was armed with multiple firearms.
Attempts have been made since the initial call to encourage the subject to cooperate and exit the residence. Negotiations are on-going and this is an active scene. Currently, the subject is contained inside the residence and there is no danger to the public.
The Sheriff’s Office is requesting that the public avoid the area of Sun-N-Sno Road. The Sheriff’s Office will update as information becomes available.
