A man who was the recent subject of a manhunt in Eau Claire appeared in court via video on Tuesday.
Leo Lacey is charged with crimes including hit and run, intentionally pointing a firearm at a person, theft of property and false imprisonment. At a preliminary hearing yesterday, Lacey stated that he has been unable to secure a lawyer.
The court is allowing him more time do so and his next appearance is scheduled for later this month.
