Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. (DECI) announced that applications are now open for its 2025 Downtown Enhancement Grant program. This initiative offers an opportunity for businesses and property owners within the downtown Business Improvement District (BID) to receive financial support for projects that improve the look, feel, and vitality of downtown Eau Claire.
The Downtown Enhancement Grant supports projects that boost the vitality and appeal of Downtown Eau Claire—like murals, signage, events, or business upgrades that enhance customer experience or reach new audiences. One project will be selected to receive $2,000 in funding to bring their improvement plan to life. Past recipients have used funds for projects such as façade upgrades, outdoor seating enhancements, signage, lighting, and public art installations.
“This grant program is one of the many ways DECI supports the continued growth and beautification of our downtown,” said Erin Klaus, Executive Director of DECI. “Small investments in things like storefront aesthetics or creative placemaking can make a big impact on foot traffic, community pride, and overall business success.”
