After a two-week trial, a jury has found Maxwell Anderson guilty of killing and dismembering 19-year-old Sade Robinson.
The two met for a first date in April 2024, the last time Robinson was seen alive. Her burned car was found the next day, and body parts were found across Milwaukee County and as far south as Illinois in the following weeks. During his trial, the state argued he intentionally killed Robinson and planned the crime ahead of time. The jury came back with verdict after less than an hour of deliberation, finding Anderson guilty of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilation of a corpse, hiding a corpse, and arson. He will be sentenced on August 15th.
