An Eau Claire man is facing 23 charges after being the center of a manhunt on Friday.
Prosecutors say 47-year-old Leo Lacy threatened someone with a gun at Smokehouse Tobacco last Thursday. Police say he crashed his car during a police pursuit the next day in East Side Hill before running away. Schools in the area were put on lockdown while law enforcement tried to locate Lacy, who was found in a storage area above an open garage. Lacy is facing charges including a hit-and-run, recklessly endangering safety, and possession of cocaine.
