Where Was I? Photo Exhibit, Tuesday, June 17-August 17

View historic Eau Claire and its surroundings through the eyes of photographer Bruce Warren. Bruce moved to the area in 1982 and began photographing fun and interesting spots. Bruce says “I never deliberately set out to document Eau Claire and the surrounding area. It was a much more random process based on whatever “caught my eye.” Eventually it occurred to me that I had, in a sense, a literal “snapshot” of a specific, albeit short, slice of Eau Claire history.” The exhibit includes 25 different photos which will be for sale.

Bruce’s challenge to viewers is to answer the question “Where was I?” Visitors can participate in a contest to identify the locations (where it was, what it was and where and what it is now). Whoever gets the most answers right gets to choose a photograph when the exhibit ends.

Join Bruce for an opening reception June 17 from 6-7:30pm. The reception is free and open to the public, sponsored by Banbury Place. For more information or to register, see the online calendar at cvmuseum.com.
