A new lawsuit filed Tuesday in Dane County seeks to restore fusion voting in Wisconsin, a practice allowing candidates to appear on the ballot under multiple political parties.
The group United Wisconsin argues the state’s ban violates constitutional rights. The Wisconsin Elections Commission and the Department of Justice have not yet commented on the case.
