Americans have conflicting views about the effects of artificial intelligence on society.
According to a new poll from Quinnipiac University, more than 40 percent think AI is going to cause more harm than good in their everyday lives. More than 50 percent think it’s going to cause harm in education and nearly 60 percent think it will harm advances in medicine. More than half see it leading to fewer job opportunities.
