Today is the last day of the winter residential disconnection moratorium in Wisconsin.
The moratorium prevents utility providers from disconnecting heating services due to non-payment between November 1st and April 15 every year. Customers who aren’t up to date with their energy bills are encouraged to call their provider and ask if a payment plan is available to avoid disconnection.
