Fire Risk High Across the Dairyland

Nearly all of Wisconsin is at high risk of wildfires. 

The Department of Natural Resources fire map shows Southern and Eastern Wisconsin is at very high risk.  West Central Wisconsin is at high risk.  There have been 476 wildfires statewide so far this year.  Right now there are a dozen prescribed fires, which are controlled burns across the state.
