The Taylor County Sheriffs Office is asking for the public’s help regarding the incident below:
On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at approximately 10:00 PM, the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call requesting emergency medical services at a residence located in the 14000 block of County Road M in the Town of Pershing, Taylor County for two severely injured adults that were located inside the residence.
Taylor County Deputies, along with Taylor County EMS services, were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two deceased adults located inside the residence.
Based on the information collected thus far, we do not believe there is an immediate danger to the public. If you believe you have information regarding this incident, we ask that you please contact the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center at 715-748-2200 extension 5.
This incident remains under investigation with assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Wisconsin State Crime Lab, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Wisconsin State Patrol (WSP), Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Barron County Sheriff’s Office, Stanley Police Department, Rice Lake Police Department, Gilman Police Department, Taylor County District Attorney’s Office, and Taylor County Medical Examiner’s Office
