Fire officials responded to a grass fire that took place in Osseo.
Officials believe the fire started in a pile of brush and spread to grass. They believe the fire burned anywhere from 65 to 80 acres of grass. Crews were called out to the 46000 block of Thorson Road yesterday to start putting out the fire. Fire chief Nels Gunderson said the fire started from resident burning a pile of debris. The debris spread to a pile of brush and then to the grass. The dry conditions along with strong winds played a big role in the fire spreading. No injuries were reported.
