The county farm near Lake Neshonoc that was up for sale, will now not be sold.
This put the popular music festival, Country Boom relocation on hold. The decision was made by the county board and said they needed more time to develop a plan that would best fit the community needs. The property has drawn a lot interest from many businesses and organizations. With this being on hold, the board could re-visit the sale of the property later in the year, as they will keep all options open.
