Wild turkeys are running ramped over the city of Appleton.
Over the past few days community members have seen these turkeys from causing back ups to traffic, chasing people, and most recently, attacking cars. The police is requesting that the public stop feeding the turkeys. Police say that is the reason why they stay. They are expecting more food every time someone feeds them. Police officials say if the public continues to feed these wild turkeys, they can issue citations. It’s a last ditch effort that police do not want to do.
