Police are investigating how a car vs motorcycle crash killed two people in the Town of Portland.
The crash took place late Sunday night on State Highway 33 near County Highway X. An initial report by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office shows that the man operating the motorcycle was going around a curve and lost control. The motorcycle collided with another vehicle and ejected both the driver and passenger on the bike. The driver and passenger on the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene.
