Charges are officially filed against a Wisconsin teen accused of killing his mother and stepfather.
Seventeen-year-old Nikita Casap is facing nine charges. Officers say they found two people dead in a Waukesha County home, identified as Donald Mayer and Tatiana Casap. Prosecutors say Nikita, the female victim’s son, was pulled over and arrested more than 800 miles away in Kansas. He’d driven through several states, including Illinois and Iowa. Investigators say a gun and the family dog was found in the car.
His first court appearance is scheduled for today. He’s facing nine charges related to the murders.
