Lawmakers are considering allowing Sandhill crane hunting in Wisconsin.
Supporters of a bill in the state legislature say the cranes damage crops. The bird is protected by federal law, so Wisconsin would need to get agreement from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to open a Sandhill crane hunting season.
