WI Women Heat up the Ice

The Wisconsin women’s hockey team is celebrating after winning their eighth national championship. 

Kirsten Simms scored the game-tying penalty shot with seconds remaining in regulation before scoring the winning goal in overtime to lead the Badgers to a 4-3 victory over Ohio State in Minneapolis yesterday.  Wisconsin rallied to win its fourth NCAA title in the last seven years.
