A 750-acre fire in Green Lake County is now completely contained.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says the fire started yesterday at 4:30 p.m. in the White River Marsh State Wildlife Area. Fire crews declared the flames extinguished at about midnight, though there was still smoke as of about 10:30 a.m. today. No injuries are reported, and no structures were lost. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
