Created in 2021, the Shipyard District is officially recognized in Green Bay.
Yesterday, officials with the city announced the new partnership with the district. Mayor Eric Genrich spoke at a press conference about his visions for the new district. Housing, business development and redevelopment of the land were the three main points in the mayor and city leaders’ vision. The area spans from West Mason Street to Lombardi Avenue and South Ashland Avenue to the Fox River.
