Sanders Stops in Cinder City

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders makes a stop at Altoona High School Saturday. 

About 26-hundred people joined the Independent senator for his “Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here” tour.  A spokesperson said they’re hitting up states that were marginally won in the 2024 general election by Republicans.  In his speech he said cutting social security would be a death sentence, cutting jobs at the VA would slow down services and decrease quality of care and he encouraged people to vote and continue the fight for democracy.
