The Wisconsin football has announced a new date for its first football game of the year.

Originally scheduled for Saturday August 30th, the game against Miami of Ohio has been moved up two days, to Thursday August 28th. The game will be a night game, but the exact time will be announced on a later date. This will be the seventh night opener over the past nine years.
