Have a blender that won’t blend? Sitting in front of a TV with a wonky screen? A loose chair leg that you would like to sturdy up? Handy and want to show off your skills?
A new Fix-It Clinic aimed at promoting sustainability and community connections. This program invites residents to bring in broken items– such as electronics, appliances, clothing, and furniture– for repair by skilled volunteers. The Fix-It Clinic not only helps to reduce waste but also fosters a collaborative spirit by teaching valuable DIY repair skills.
You can join this event on March 29th at The Rassbach Museum from 1to 4pm to be part of this hands on initiative to fix, learn, and connect with your neighbors.

FOR VOLUNTEERS: Are you a fixer of small appliances, clothing, bikes, computers, toys and more? Volunteer your time and skill for our community. Please call the Museum if you would like to offer your repair skills!
NEED SOMETHING FIXED? Buttons sewn on? A broken lamp? We will soon have a list of volunteer skills that will be available at the Fix it Clinic – if you have something that can be fixed by volunteers, bring it on down between 1-4pm on March 29th, and you will get to work with the volunteer as they show you how to fix your item.
