Cody Anderson, who tried to steal an airplane from the La Crosse Airport in 2023, is being given a conditional release from a mental health facility.
Anderson met the standards for his conditional release plan earlier this month. The court now ruled that Anderson was no longer a risk to himself or others. Back in 2023, he faced five felony counts, including making terrorist threats. He was found not guilty by reason of insanity last year.
