A house fire in Onalaska leaves one person dead.
Firefighters arrived on scene and immediately started an offensive attack on the flames. As crews searched the home, they pulled one person out, who later died of their injuries. The fire caused significant damage, but crews were able to bring it under control within 30 minutes. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
