Western Wisconsin is getting a new hospital.
The City Council unanimously approved selling a piece of city-owned land to Aspirus Health during a meeting yesterday. Construction can now begin at the site along Chippewa Crossing Boulevard, west of Highway 178. The new hospital will provide primary care, an emergency room, and inpatient services.
