On February 7, 2025 at approximately 1930, the Eau Claire Fire Department was dispatched for a structure fire at 1113 Glenn Place.
The first arriving unit found fire and heavy smoke coming from the attached garage of a single story duplex. Crews were able to quickly gain access to the garage and house. The fire was quickly extinguished and crews prevented extension of fire into the living spaces. Both sides of the dwelling were occupied at the time of the fire and all occupants were able to safely evacuate and are being assisted by the American Red Cross. The fire is under investigation to determine the cause.
Responding units were Engine 2, Engine 9, Engine 10, Truck 8, Medic 9, Battalion 1, Chief 2, and Inspector 2. ECFD was assisted by Eau Claire Police Departement, Eau Claire Communications Center, Eau Claire Streets Division
