Wisconsin rural road improvement projects are getting 100-million dollars in state funding.
The Department of Transportation says 55 projects will benefit from the money. Selected projects aim to support farmers and other producers by making it easier for them to transport agricultural and forestry products statewide. The DOT says the agricultural industry alone supports more than 350-thousand jobs in Wisconsin, and has 116-billion dollars in economic impact.
