WI Preps for Primary, Spring Elections

Early voting is going to look a little different in Eau Claire for the upcoming February and April elections.

The City Administrator says the city is switching back to the early- in-person absentee voting model that was used before the pandemic.  This means early in-person voting will now be in the elections office instead of drive-thru.  Early absentee in-person voting starts on February 4th and goes on until the 14th. CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE COVERAGE WITH WEAU 13 NEWS.

Wisconsin voters are now less than two months away from selecting a new state Supreme Court justice.

Judge Susan Crawford and Judge Brad Schimel, the two candidates in the race, both made appearances in Oshkosh this past weekend.  The election will decide the political leaning of the court, with liberals gaining a four-to-three advantage on the panel in recent years.  The race will likely break the last Wisconsin Supreme Court election record as the most expensive state judicial contest in U.S. history.
