EC Homicide Investigation Continues

Eau Claire police are investigating a homicide on the north side of Eau Claire. 

The Eau Claire Police Department said the incident happened early Saturday morning at a house on Western Avenue.  Police were called just after 2 a.m. about a shooting.  When they arrived, they tried to save the victims life but they were unsuccessful.  A suspect is in custody.  Police say this is an isolated incident and there are no other suspects.  Details on the victim and suspect’s name haven’t been released.
