WI DNR Awards Heroes

Seventeen Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources employees are getting awards for lifesaving and heroic actions.

The DNR says two wardens got Valor Awards for acting in extremely dangerous situations. Eight wardens and a program specialist were given Lifesaving Awards for acting in situations that could’ve ended in death. Four wardens were given a Meritorious Awards for exceeding the expectations of a first responder. Recipients got their awards at a ceremony last Friday. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE.
