More money is being invested into future generations of farmers in Chippewa County.
That’s thanks to the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, a yearly event hosted in a different county each year, which brought in over 145-thousand dollars for the Community Foundation of Chippewa County. A check was given to the board members on Saturday. Over 120-thousand dollars will go towards youth education and agriculture. Rob Mooney, the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days executive chair, says they want to be able to help children stay in the agriculture industry because it is dying and it’s an important industry in Wisconsin.
